OUR PROUDEST MOMENTS

There is nothing better than taking pride in oneโ€™s work. Letโ€™s have a look at what is happening at CFF around the globe to make teams beam with pride!

Our products available at the brand-new shopping destination in Kuala Lumpur

LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre is a newly established shopping and retail destination and started business on the 20th of January 2022. The 82,600 square-meter structure has approximately 400 stores and focuses on Japanese brands making their first appearance here in Malaysia. Sustainability is going strong in Singapore

In 2021 one of CFF Singapore’s main focus points was sustainability with a few projects and actions corresponding to different aspects of the sustainability spectrum: in terms of product range, carbon footprint, food waste and the introduction of local sourcing. CFF Singapore also introduced new plant based brands: Tindle, Good Catch, and Impossible Pork. The Singapore team is proud of the amazing results in terms of food waste with a reduced write-off of 50% compared to 2020, and 59% from 2019 to 2021.

Celebrating their 15th anniversary at CFF UK!

Exciting achievements for Classic Deli UAE with the launch of the app and the Arabic website version

In February, Classic Deli UAE launched a mobile application as 70 percent of their customers use their phones to place orders; it is difficult to have a comfortable mobile e-commerce experience, especially when you want customers to order more than twice a week. The mobile application allows to send push notifications and commercial offers that are much more efficient than emails. The challenge was to create a mobile application that could be managed automatically, in order not to add extra work to the local teams. The developers had to imagine a system that could display all the information on the application directly from the e-commerce site. The choice for an open system like Prestashop was easily made, as it allows this type of integration. In addition, the application allows to analyse usersโ€™ behaviour, offers a live personalized experience, and suggests different products. In 3 weeks, the app had 831 downloads in Dubai and a retention rate of 78%, very encouraging figures for a launch!

2,700 followers for CFF Malaysia Instagram account

Social media in Classic Fine Foods Malaysia has reached an all-time high with a total amount of 2,700 followers to date. With the great support from customers and clientele, they are confident that the Instagram page can reach the targeted 4, 000 followers by the end of 2022. For Classic Deli, which mainly targets to their end user customers, it has reached a number of 2,306 followers.

A feast for all the hard work of 2021

On the last business day of December 2021, CFF Japan French Sales Representatives, Bernard and Remi, put on their Chefโ€™s hats and cooked for more than 60 people at the office. Before the meal started, Francois-Xavier gave a speech looking back at the hardship of 2021: โ€œI am really proud of you, of working with you, each of you are a treasure to meโ€. It was then time for the team to eat delicious food (most of it from the CFF Japan range of course!) and to make a toast with wonderful wine.

ISO 22000: 2018 Food Safety Management System certification for all branches for CFF Vietnam

Huynh Thi Thuy Giang, called โ€œGiangโ€ for short, Quality Manager at CFF Vietnam, is responsible for maintaining the companyโ€™s current Quality system ISO22000 in 3 branches: Ho Chi Minh in the South, Hanoi in the North, and Danang in the East.

ISO 22000 is an internationally recognized standard written by the Food Industry for the Food Industry.ย

It sets out the requirements for a food safety management system throughout the food supply chain and can certify it. It maps out what an organization needs to do to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards. It provides a framework on which a company can profitably build customer satisfaction and continually improve while creating a profitable business. All people (from the staff to the BOD) in an organization certified with ISO 22000 are requested to have a high awareness of their contribution to the success of their FSMS, to confirm their engagement, and to commit to comply with the standard.

Furthermore, ISO 22000 certification is intended for organizations seeking to establish a more focused, coherent and integrated FSMS than is normally required by law. It helps organizations with aspects of their operations such as food safety, hazard control, their supply chain, HACCP, their business strategy and food traceability. It applies to any organization that is part of or has contact with the food industry or food chain, regardless of the size of the organization or where it is along the food chain.
