New coffee from Italy and syrups from France to appeal to consumersโ€™ taste buds

CFF Malaysia has recently launched two brands as part of their beverage range with Kimbo coffee (replacing Illy) and Giffard syrups. Goh Chee Wan, Sales Manager for Beverage Division takes us through those launches: โ€œWhen we selected Kimbo Coffee as our new coffee range, we looked into the brandโ€™s rich history and heritage which dates back from 1663. As the 2nd biggest coffee producer in Italy, we are absolutely confident that Malaysia would definitely enjoy the taste of Neapolitan Coffeeโ€. He adds: โ€œGiffard Syrups is highly recommended because it has over 89 range flavours that caters to my clientele, as the Malaysian taste buds never stop looking for the latest flavours. As well as the fact that they don’t have any preservatives, I am also proud to promote Giffard as it is made from pure French sugar beet and only with natural aromas. Iโ€™m definitely looking forward to seeing this brand expand and hit the shelves of every cafรฉ, restaurant and barโ€.

New rice from the Ibaraki Prefecture

CFF Japan launched 5 different sorts of rice (5kg/10kg) a few weeks ago. This rice is produced in the Ibaraki prefecture, located near 2 rivers and known for its good quality clay soil. The area is known for the extreme difference in temperature between day and night, and this is a key element for producing good rice. Ishizaki Shoten (Ishizaki shop) has a partnership with rice farmers in the local area. They harvest the rice, examine it, sort it, weigh and polish it before selling it. This rice is good value for money as Ishizaki Shoten cuts down on costs by handling almost all procedures by themselves from collecting the rice to shipping it out. A CFF Japan’s customer explains how happy he is to be able to buy this product: โ€œI was a METRO supermarket shop user. Since they quit business in Japan, I had to go out to purchase the rice by myself. Happy to know the same product is available again, it is also helpful to have it delivered.โ€
