Classic Fine Foods UK launch Classic Beverage

As June 2023 came to a close, Classic Fine Foods UK gathered to officially launch Classic Beverage; a new category offering access to an array of own growers’ champagnes of the highest standards, niche spirits and a variety of internationally selected wines from a panel of local experts. In addition, a selection of non-alcoholic choices cater to the ever-increasing demand, while a comprehensive array of cocktail essentials encompass a diverse assortment to suit all requirements along with a captivating choice of liquors.

In a fantastic event hosted at BALTHAZAR Restaurant in London, guests had the chance to meet and learn from Jérôme Poussin, Classic Fine Foods UK Beverage Category Manager. Together with our partners, which included Champagne Lassaigne-Berlot, Bluebell Vineyard, Padre Azul Tequila, Maison Goubet and Cognac Gilbert, Jérôme shared his extensive knowledge on our brands and opportunities created by this new offering.

Delicious cocktails were created by expert mixologist Karol Bobinsky, with niche spirits, selected wines and much more on offer to tempt attendees.

Classic Fine Foods Indonesia showcase Patissier & Ponthier

Hosted by Classic Fine Foods Indonesia in Bandung in collaboration with Khairi (Beverages Specialist), Chef Gerald Maridet from Patissier and Marily, representing Ponthier, an exquisite Chocolate & Fruit Afternoon Tea showcased Patissier Chocolate and Ponthier Fruit Purees.

It was the first event in Bandung since Classic Fine Foods Indonesia launched in the area a year and a half ago, and welcomed both existing customers as well as potential new buyers in a casual yet premium event.

Desma Danora from Classic Fine Foods said “I joined Classic Fine Foods Indonesia in March as Sales Executive for Bandung. It was my first event with Classic Fine Foods. It was great to meet my customers and potential new ones in Gijon. It was also super great to meet customers out of their kitchen or office, it helps a lot to build the relationships.”

Classic Fine Foods Malaysia host Valrhona workshop

A two-day event for Classic Fine Foods Malaysia’s existing café, hotel and restaurant customers held at Voila Patisserie closed off February and kick started March 2023.

In celebration of the new Valrhona Hukambi 53%, an exclusive and intimate hands-on workshop was hosted by Pastry Chef Glenn Noel. Chef imparted his extensive pastry knowledge, techniques and expertise to the guests, and also shared amazing recipes to try later at home!

Classic Fine Foods Hong Kong & Macau partner with HUG to activate in TheTasteLab

Another event perfectly executed by our team at Classic Fine Foods Hong Kong & Macau saw a visit to TheTasteLab from Chef Heinz Fischer and Miguel De Lima, Key Account Manager for Food Services Export at HUG AG.

Over three consecutive days, colleagues and invited guests discovered the full HUG range and attended a masterclass hosted by the Chef, cumulating in a tasting of 17 tempting sweet and savory recipes.

Special mention must go to all involved in the detailed organization, with special thanks to Jennifer Grose, local Manager of Pastry Division and to Chef Lexine Hepworth for her assistance with the preparation.

Classic Fine Foods Rungis International celebrate French National Day in style

Led by Florent Boissi, Development Sales Manager and the wider team at Classic Fine Foods Rungis International, a showcase of France’s finest gastronomic traditions was held in celebration of French National Day on 14th July 2023, in an event at Hilton’s Labriz Resort & Spa in the Seychelles.

Classic Fine Foods treated guests to a culinary journey featuring products from many of our partners which fused new ingredient discoveries with traditional French craftsmanship, and saw attendees pause to enjoy a moment of togetherness on this symbolic date.

Classic Fine Foods Singapore’s Chef Jose shines as Alt Protein expert

Executive Chef of Classic Fine Foods Singapore, Chef Jose Luis D. Amo was selected as one of the keynote speakers and panelists at Singapore’s Alternative Protein & Food Tech Show 2023. He captivated the audience with his comprehensive speech, shedding light on the four fundamental pillars that Alt Protein companies should prioritize when launching their products in the market.

Continuing to drive innovation and change within the space, Chef Jose also participated in a talk on ‘Food Service Innovation’, where the panel discussion included insight from TiNDLE Foods and The KindEarth.Tech (KET) Foundation.

Classic Fine Foods Vietnam showcase Honda Suisan scallops in Saigon

July 2023 saw guests descend on the intimate setting of Miên Saigon, which provided a cozy backdrop for Chef Thao Na’s spectacular showcase of Japanese scallops and oysters.

Classic Fine Foods partner Honda Suisan is a favorite of high-end sushi restaurants, raising their superior scallops on the seabed for up to 4 years before harvesting with trawl nets.

Guests also delighted in the sweet flavors of oysters from the Sanriku region, famed for producing oysters of size and pure taste. Areas of Sanriku also boast certification from the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, noted as sustainable oyster farming areas.

Classic Fine Foods Singapore present the Summer Perishable Market

Hosted by the team at Classic Fine Foods Singapore in the beautiful surrounds of Chef Mirko Febbrile’s Italian eatery Fico, the much anticipated 2023 Summer Perishable Market featured an extensive selection of local produce as well as top quality products from Italy, France, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands and Australia.

An impressive array of fresh fish launched the event, featuring renowned brands such as Parcs Saint- Kerber, Philosofish, Stolt Farm and The King Fish Company. With offerings ensuring the freshest and most sustainable catches for chef’s culinary adventures, the oceanic delicacies – including oysters from Amelié, Parcs Saint-Kerber, Jerome Miet and Tarbouriech, were a true highlight.

The Dairy Delights section was pure creamy indulgence! French products from Mons and sumptuous yoghurt by Peuplier were met with great appreciation, while the finest butter and cheeses by Bordier and Artigiana respectively added a touch of luxury to proceedings.

Fresh from the fields, the fruit and vegetable counters were a garden of flavors. Vegetables by Eric Roy, La Boite A Champignons oyster mushrooms and offerings from Prince de Bretagne and L'Oustalet were met with great enthusiasm, while fruits by Anecoop, Mouneyrac and Panach Fruits were delightfully sweet. The juicy produce by Fogliati and wholesome offerings by The Vegetable Connection were also a hit. To finish, exquisite Morra Italian Truffle – a gourmet treasure worth savoring!
