The Choux Box Patisserie was founded in 2020 by Pastry Chef Orlando Partner and has proved to be a huge success from what started off as a ‘simple’ lockdown project to help bring in some money. Orlando spent 10 years working as a Pastry Chef in Michelin starred kitchens across the country, but decided to utilise these skills in a business of his own with the aim of making high end patisserie both accessible and fun!
The concept was to take a classic French Choux bun and bring it into the 21st Century. Using old school technique, Orlando and his team now create exciting new weekly specials including favourites such as ‘The Sticky Toffee Pudding Choux’, ‘The Blueberry Crumble Choux’ and ‘The Fruit and Nut Chocolate Bar Choux’. Having originally kicked off with two trailers, one used as a kitchen and the other as somewhere to sell the tasty treats, The Choux Box Patisserie now has its own professional kitchen and sells at 3 locations across Bath and Bristol. The story continues as Orlando has just secured a new lease for a property which was originally a dream site he spotted while walking his dog. This proper lockdown success continues to grow and puts a massive smile on anyone who drops by!
