The annual Outstanding Leadership Awards were presented at this year’s ONE CFF CONFERENCE gala dinner in Kuala Lumpur, the nominations revealed an abundance of talent and dedication across the business. Congratulations to the 2023 winners. Read on to learn more about each of the recipients.
Marine Chollet, Quality Manager at CFF Rungis joined CFF in 2019. Passionate and creative, Marine is an involved and professional leader who achieves all round excellence to meet ambitious objectives and is also an exceptional listener.
Hai Nguyen Thi Thanh, CFF Vietnam’s Branch Manager – DA NANG joined in 2004. Positive and very hardworking, this inspirational team player and problem solver was a significant contributor to opening a new branch for CFFVN.
CFF Malaysia’s Chee Wan Goh, Sales Manager – Beverage Division has been with the company since 2010. A collaborative relationship builder who inspires and motivates team members led a flagship project of cross-selling to increase revenue and expand brand reach.
Joe Ang, Operations Director at CFF Singapore joined CFF in 2019. A dedicated, well rounded leader with integrity, Joe is a highly respected mentor and coach who has a hands-on approach, combined with a strong strategic and problem-solving skillset.
Gloria Huang, CFF Macau’s Sales Manager since in 2019 had a positive attitude and always supports her team and colleagues. Gloria is resilient with a customer centric focus.
Liliane Ku, CFF Hong Kong’s Customer Service Manager joined in 2019. Responsible, helpful and approachable Liliane is a resourceful problem solver who goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Widely respected, she leads by example and always acts as a role model.
Ashkan Bagherian, CFF UAE’s Finance Manager joined CFF in 2020. A talented mentor, mediator and friend to all departments, Ashkan is also an Excel expert! With an insatiable appetite for learning, Ashkan proactively participates in multiple projects.
Mari Tomizuka, CFF Japan’s Customer Service Manager since 2019 is hardworking, proactive and embraces new initiatives. With a happy attitude which has transformed the department, Mari is supportive of new team members and greatly appreciated by all colleagues.
Sophie Le Thuy, Commercial National Manager at CFF Indonesia joined in 2013, demonstrating a decade of dedication. With a high performance skillset, Sophie is committed to customer service, her precise analysis enables business growth, making her a strong leader & role model.
Krishna Quarrell, Sales Manager – Outside London for CFF UK joined in 2018. Instrumental in developing the out-of-London team, Krishna is a talented mentor and coach who leads by example and is widely respected. A truly inspiring talent & a rising star!
April was a month of success and changes for two foodservice colleagues. Laurent Varachaud joined CFF in October 2020 as Product Manager – Perishable.
Since joining CFF, Laurent has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all the brands represented. As such Laurent has been promoted to Brand Manager within Food Service. Laurent will be responsible for helping to select our future brands, products and assisting with stock management.
Also, this month, we honour Kimmy Ho, who has been promoted to Director of Sales. Kimmy joined CFF in September 2019 as Senior Sales Executive, in February 2021 Kimmy was promoted to Dairy Category Manager and in July 2022 Kimmy was promoted to Senior Category Manager. She has been successful in all her positions, leading the larger brand category, she is well respected by customers, partners and teams. Kimmy and Laurent will work closely to ensure a smooth and professional collaboration between both divisions.
Join CFF Singapore to congratulate Sin Yee Lim & Alice Ang from the Purchasing Team for their perseverance and determination in passing the Customs Competency Test for Declarants following several months of hard study. The low pass rate of the test reflects its difficulty, making their accomplishments even more impressive – demonstrating expertise and understanding of customs regulations and procedures, which will undoubtedly benefit all purchasing teams and the organization as a whole.
The Forest of Dean Half Marathon is an exhilarating and scenic race that takes place in the enchanting woodland of the Forest of Dean, England. Four CFF UK staff enthusiastically took part in this exciting half marathon – Krishna Quarrell, Lewis Griffiths, Tom Eaton and JP Glassford. Roped into the event by a spontaneous New Years Eve suggestion from Krishna, ‘Team Classic’ just couldn’t resist the thrill and excitement of the marathon so they laced up their trail running shoes and charged into the challenge with enthusiasm. They didn’t just show off their athletic abilities, but also proved that they’re masters of resilience, teamwork and determination in the face of any obstacle. Let us cheer for the fearless team – Krishna, Lewis, Tom and JP – as they sprinted, laughed and conquered the Forest of Dean Half Marathon. Let their inspiring journey be a reminder to all of us to break free from our comfort zones, embrace challenges like rockstars and always strive for greatness.

He captivated the audience with his comprehensive speech, shedding light on the four fundamental pillars that Alt Protein companies should prioritize when launching their products in the market.
